Why do we need spiritual teachers ?

We live in an age where things get done very quickly , you place the frozen bread in the microwave and in 20 seconds your bread is warm to eat. But what about when you need to learn how to warm your own inner heart so it can melt all you inner pains and suffering.

People are searching for solutions for their internal suffering , they read many books and go to seminars and motivation classes.

But it is the most intimate interaction with another human being that can point a person in the right direction.

Look at it like this , when you where a baby your parents did not teach you how to walk , but they were there to guide , protect and show you the way.

In the same way , as we need a father and a mother , it is essential to have a spiritual father and mother and that type of relationship is very different from your siblings one.

If we are lucky enough to meet a true spiritual teacher , we shall actually meet a person who will not only be our guiding light , but will also points his lights towards the most needy points in us that needs to evolve.

The real connection to a spiritual Master , has a very mystic and sublime nature to it. It is a heart to heart connection.

The ultimate spiritual person is the supreme Divine , and he reflect in so many guiding lights. As you develop internally and send a calling for guidance , so does the spiritual Master shall manifest in your life. Not always will we be fortunate to meet him or her in flesh , but when we do it is actually the reflection of our own internal Divine guide that manifest in human form to guide us further.

How to choose a Spiritual Teacher? , who is choosing who ?

When the student is ready the teacher shall appear. A true spiritual Master is always sending his love to the universe and sends the healing light for the soul readiness. When you see a spiritual teacher , make sure your are ready to embrace the most important thing - Change , as this will be the first thing for you to do , change your perception and accepts new dimensions into your life , trust and surrender will follow long after. Do not look at external features , they are just distractions , look at the teacher actions and own relationships , but on no account , judge what you see , just reflect and feel .

Some Masters wil have many followers , some just a few , it does not matter , what matter is the ability of the Master to convey the spiritual empowerment and guidance.

Usually the guidance will be that you need to move and not the circumstances.

A true spiritual Master will not pat and nurse your false ego on the ground of being "nice" to you, but will work as a "cool" surgeon to remove your ignorance. Initially , Some pains will be there , but when you are purified sufficiently you shall see the light in each of the Master instructions and guidance and feel the warmth of his endless love.

What is the purpose of the Spiritual Master ?

Ultimately and authentically the spiritual master is a servant of the Supreme Divine and his true position is of a Guru - dispeller of darkness and ignorance of the soul in its journey back to the supreme light. A true spiritual Master is not here to gain more students , fame and self admiration , but to steadily and continuously serve the light , such a Master will not lean and manipulate but will make you stronger , humbler and take responsibility over your life . with humility and inner peace. I once asked my Spiritual Masters , how can I repay back to all the grace that is being showered on me and the reply was , "just follow the teaching and live your life as a true healer , giving one and all in an equal eye".

Hidden Masters , reveled Masters .

If you are ready , the Master will appear , and its appearance can be in any given situation at any place , any time . You can be on the train and a true spiritualist will be sitting next to you , but you may not be aware of it at all. The Master will know , when you are ready.

The Spiritual Master as GOD'S messenger on earth.

A true spiritual Master work for the Divine by the Divine.

In his most illuminating book The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, author Sogyal Rinpoche, has pointed out that if you treat your Master to be the Buddha himself , you shall receive the Buddha teaching and if you treat the spiritual Master as an ordinary human being , you shall receive ordinary teaching. If you are to treat the spiritual Master as you would treat a messenger of the Divine you shall derive the highest benefit. This is not to say you go for the false ego perception , but rather identify the supremacy of the Master , as one who walked the path , knows the way there and back and can guide you , appropriately.

If you to encounter such a rare jewel , you life will be changed forever.

Relationships with the Spiritual Master

It is a deep eternal connection of love , grace and deep inner truth between Master and student. It is the embrace of the mother with the guiding and protecting wings of the father.

Personal experience

In my own soul journey I was fortunate enough to meet such rare jewels , my Spiritual Masters , Nalin Kumar Nirula and Renoo Nirula , who have changed my life forever , with their endless love and grace , helping me ,be a better human being , compassionate , giving and healing my life challenges with the supreme grace energies.
